About us

Nick Pavlou
I am a reliable, friendly and personable person with a black cat called Leo. I'm also a teacher with fifteen years experience in Primary education. I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and I have a Certificate in Teaching English Language to Adults (CELTA). I have undergone safeguarding training every year for the last fifteen years and I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
During my time as a classroom teacher, I have planned lessons and schemes of work tailored to the needs of the students in my class. All my lessons have been differentiated to allow students of all abilities to access the curriculum.I always provide extension activities for the most able and prioritise making lessons fun, interesting and interactive for all. I make specific provision for children with special educational needs (SEN) and children with English as an additional language (EAL), by liaising with support staff and preparing intervention timetables. I have learned how to analyse data based on assessments to help me plan future lessons and target specific student needs.Once we've had a discussion and agreed on your requirements and goals, I can design a program of study tailored to you.
